Design Brief

Undertaking the project of Identity Development in the Digital Realm for California State University, Fullerton's esteemed course ART 483F, also known as Design for Interactive Art, proved to be a gratifying experience. The project sought to achieve branding, storytelling and interactivity through various applications such as semantics and engagement. Identity in the digital realm pertains to the content that is publicly available online, portraying an individual's personality. Every individual has distinct reasons for building a digital identity, expressed through emoji icons, interface layout and even explored within the branding of coffee cups. I sought to visually depict the metaphorical concept of digital identity development, utilizing abstract forms and shapes to simulate flexibility and movement. Similarly, lines, shapes and amorphous forms were used to convey the flow in its many forms. Images of people interspersed with various abstract backgrounds were utilized to foster connections between individuals and their interactions with the digital world.
